The most obvious situation where Telstra can be cheaper is when the FACT
that there is no fixed monthly charge with some of Telstra's offerings means
that its cheaper than DSL where that isnt available, fuckwit.

I wrote those backwards, its pennytel thats cheaper than MNF.

Current offerings are below. Not quite as generous as when I snaffued
one. Well it is Exetel where they seem to have weekly plan changes. I
allocate 90Gb to the Uncharged period because they actually have a
"resonable use" tag.Seems when they called it "unlimted" people actually
took them at their word.
