Windows Update just killed my PC I've just installed the lates updates including Win Installer 3.1 and my computer (in the other room) is dead. It repeatedly reboots from a blue screeen. Windows Update Problem I only get the first screen when trying to perform windows updates. It says "Checking for lastest version of windows update software". That is as far as it gets.
