I wonder if poor Max is thinking he's created a monster here. ;-)

What would be really *cool* right now is a little utility that can follow an
audio stream's data from media file to audio hardware and show what the
processing chain looks like. :-)

Just sitting back. Still trying to work out all the bugs in Sonar 6.2.1.
This may well be the worst or 2nd worst release of a Cake product yet. If I
wasn't a feature junkie, I would probably be using 4.

I am glad to get the 24 bit files to play in WMP. You'd think MS could have
done this.

I thought about this last post and decided that I needed to clarify some if
it. Most of my problems are conflicts with Sonar 6.2.1 and Waves plugins.
In my opinion, 2 of the major players in plugins are UAD and Waves. If cake
does not support these properly, they are neglecting many studios. The CPU
munching needs to be fixed on the UAD stuff along with some other minor
stuff. In the waves products, 2 - Renverb's will not bounce down with
multi-processor turned on. Renverb will not bounce down at all with 1 track
using the audio snap with Radius mix settings. Doubler, on a track insert
will cause feedback sometimes. They might not have any waves users on the
beta team. I'm not a person to complain and not try to help. Gonna call
today to see if they want me to help.
