P7P55D- Deluxe and memory choise
Hi! Building a system on a Asus P7P55D Deluxe with a Intel i5-750 (might go 760, waiting for the word on it). I know I want to run 8GB (so 4 sticks) of 1600MHz (PC3-12800) ram with it and will most likely go Corsair XMS3. Best mem config for overclocking ans gaming
Looking at a P7P55D Deluxe and Corsair XMS3 ram with a i750 CPU. What would be better between a matched set of 4*2GB (9-9-9-24, XMP) or two sets of 2*2 (8-8-8-24, XMP) (Slightly more expensive), another option is two sets of 2*2GB (7-8-7-20) with no XMP. Installing a sound card
I have a new system which I had built using an Asus P6X58D Premium motherboard. I'm currently using the Realtek on board audio. If I decided to installl a sound card, would it automatically take over audio duties or do I have to go into the BIOS for the board and disable the Realtek device? Thanks. ... 7 Jul 2010 16:45
