p8p55d-e - controlling cpu fan speed
I just put a new cpu fan in my system.I am running the PC Probe to view the cpu temp and the cpu fan speed. When I stress test the system the cpu temp sky rockets but the cpu fan speed stays constant. Shouldn't the fan speed increase? Hi, I was wondering whether Bios chips were processor type dependent or is it just the Bios program (or is it dependent?). I also have a A7N8X-E Deluxe (for AMD processor) and I misplaced the BIOS chip. I was wondering which motherboard has the same or a compatible chip so I can pull it out. Can anyone give me recommendations on CPU fans that fit a P7P55D without blocking the memory slots and is relatively easy to install. Video Cards & Heat?
You didn't specify the CPU. But, typically, the CPU would create a lot more heat than a card like that. The amount of heat generated by the video card would not vary much at all based on the amount of memory, however.
