P5LD2 Deluxe On-board audio problem

Flashing K8V-MX BIOS
I need to update the BIOS on my K8V-MX mobo to cater for AMD 3100+ CPU. Current BIOS revision is 0112 and I get "Warning Unknown Processor" My problem is when I try to flash from floppy via Alt F2 I get the following message "Reading K8v-mx.rom Completed Failed to Flash!" Will a 20(+4) pin PSU work on mother board that needs 24?
Will an A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard, which says its power pin is 24, will a power supply that has 20 +4 work on this board? I'm not sure if 20 +4 is the same thing or compatable with 24 pin. USB port not working

help! over temperature error / alert
