Generator Project
I dug down and just ran into a bunch of rocks. I know when I fill the hole I'm not puting any more rocks back. Eventually I found the line break. Now I need to splice together two 2/O wires. I need a splice connector. I might try the local electrical supply places and see. Once I get it fixed there will b... 12 Jul 2010 16:16

Strange idea..
It was hot today, again,. very hot, 34 C inside (no aircos here), http://panteltje.com/panteltje/view_sensors.php so I switched everything off - that did not help- , so sat down and switched on the old soldering iron. What I wanted to do was make a more efficient power regulator for my 3.3V in the LED controller.... 15 Jul 2010 10:57

Somewhat OT: What can break on a cell phone?
Gents, My trusty old Nokia 2115i only gets one and very occasionally two bars. It does connect but calls fail. Can't get a new one before the next trip because it needs to be sent from VirginMobile and the local stores don't have any that would work. Is there some "typical" problem that happens with such phones,... 12 Jul 2010 21:50

Mosfet switching times ?
When Mosfet switching times are shown in the data sheets i.e ton, toff and tdelay. They specify an Rg value. Is this Rg value the driver resistance or the internal mosfet mesh resistance? The reason I'm asking is that every FET sheet uses a different value of Rg for testing. The ones with the lower Rg have the qui... 12 Jul 2010 09:35
AC to DC conversion without diodes
------------------------------------- Hi, Does anybody have any idea to design a AC to DC conversion circuit without using diodes? We can use MOSFETs, but we would need a control circuitory to switch ON and OFF the MOSFETs. Is to possible to somehow use the secondary voltage of the transformer to... 15 Jul 2010 18:44
Jon-Archi collaboration, test results:
With those two Mental Powerhouses joining forces here at Densa Labs, results are IMMEDIATE. With great pride, I'd like to announce some borderline PERFECT test results.
