how do I set up an input calendar for users in excel

convert xls file to ANSI format
I have Office 12 folder instead of Office 11 folder in the Microsoft Office folder in the Programs folder. So, I don't have ConvText.exe file (which shoud be in Office 11 folder according to the Microsoft web site) to convert the Excel file to ANSI format.
