access to hard drive not recognised by bios
I've a hard drive that began to fail, sometimes bios recognised it and SO began to boot, but next to it system reboots. Now none computer find it. I'm think that hd don't spin, because i dont listen noise. any tool could access to hd without bios support ? the hd is a western digital caviar 40gb ide. ... 10 Aug 2006 21:45

Is My Monitor Dead?
I have a two-year-old SCEPTRE 19" LCD monitor. Came home after leaving system off for several days, and it worked for a 10 or so minutes, then stayed black. I cannot get it to work now. Bios Question
In a Windows Crash Report, it says to disable BIOS Caching or Shadowing... So I did. What is the downside of doing that? I don't know what these features do. Will impact performance? Thanks, mac ... 3 Aug 2006 05:30
