Problem with Promise PCI SATA controller I bought a 2 tb SATA hard drive and a Promise FastTrack 376 (tm) PCI controller card. The card detects the drive but the drive does not show up in Windows XP's disk manager. The card came with no printed instructions. Sata drive formatting problem Hi I'm using an old Dell dimension 2300 as a fileserver and I've recently bought a new 1.5TB sata hard drive for it along with a PCI 3port SATA adapter (the motherboard only has IDE ports by default). Update on PS/2 Kbd/Mouse to USB Only desktop... Someone on this forum suggested a particular adapter for my issue. I had tried other adapters to no avail but just received the recommended one, plugged it into a USB port, the PS/2 Kbd/Mouse of my KVM and voila! Working!!! Need help recalling a keyboard short cut to open a new text file??? There was a 2 key short cut I could use to open a new text file but I cannot recall it. I'm using Windows Vista but I believe it also worked under xp. If anyone can help me with this, I'd be most grateful. It might have been 3 keys, but I don't know.
