I am confused about firewire IEEE P1394b vs. 1394a First question can a firewire 4 pin outlet or cord transfer data at 800 Mbps ever? I know it is also dependant on the external devise whether it can achieve 800 mbps rates but can 6 pin devices transfer at 800 Mbps?
