Internal usb device
have an internal card reader that connect via usb. I'm finding that when I plug in a memory card a umount of the card "unmounts" the card reader. From that point forward I can't use the device without rebooting the machine!! I've tried unloading the usb-storage module and reloading it but that doesn't help. I see ... 28 Mar 2010 11:14
Incoming FAX call discrimination
I use a DSL modem for internet connection, and also I have a FAX machine to send and receive FAXes. The problem is that when a FAX comes in, I instinctively pick up my telephone and interrupt the FAX signal. Nevermind. I resolved it. I installed a newer kernel 2.6.32 package (non-trunk) from apt-get install, trunk kernel wasn't working either (no boot up), rebooted, used non-trunk and all works now.
