This rather gushing piece TUAW about the new Apple batteries and charger
holds out the possibility that it might not be quite as bad as that.

I read that earlier today. It's certainly intriguing.

Hurrah! Hurrah, I thought - I've been after one of these for -ages-.
True, I'd have preferred one built into a keyboard but still....hurrah!
So off to my wallet I go and...err...wait a sec, what? No physical
button?

Ah. I -hate- press-to-click.

Oh well, I can continue to dream whilst using my faithful Logitech scrollmouse.

Welcome to the wonderful world of currency devaluation and rising fuel
prices. It's not that the price of the trackpad is massively
outrageous, it's that the pound is weak. Quantitive easing
my....err....hmm.
<http://www.xe.com/currencycharts/?from=GBP&to=USD&view=5Y> (they won't
let me do 3Y, which is what I actually want).

Cheers,
Ian
