mail queue question I have stuff sitting in my mail queue from like 3 yrs ago. All of the older files seem to start with a "d", I guess that's just the data and the actual queue info. is gone. I guess I can just delete these? What would cause that to happen? It seems to be a slow creep of files. It looks like there's a few ... 9 Dec 2006 19:54
How to debug it? Hi, I installed sendmail8.13.8 on some Sun boxes. Some of them work, some do not. When I sent emails by: "/usr/lib/sendmail -v mail_address < file" from those boxes, the output on the screen seems no difference for the mails received or not. For those e-mails were not received by the (same) recipient, there we... 9 Dec 2006 19:22

bypass INPUT_MAIL_FILTER I'm using Sendmail-8.12.10-1.1.1 and smrazor (with milter interface) to check if mail messages are SPAM. My sendmail.mc contains: INPUT_MAIL_FILTER(`smrazor', `S=inet:423(a)192.168.1.12, T=C:5s;S:5s;R:20s;E:20s') I'd like bypassing SMRAZOR milter if messages contain a specific header, delivering to recipient: f... 27 Dec 2006 23:02

Recognizing updates to Access file After making updates to /etc/mail/access and then recreating the access.db with the makemap command, is it necessary to issue a HUP to the sendmail process to reread (looks like it make restart sessions as well). Or will sendmail be able to use the updated table for all new connections? -- Albert E. Whale, CHS ... 12 Dec 2006 22:32
Sendmail and access file Hi, I have been trying to implement some new security level to lower the spam and the number of user unknow on my relay. I was hoping... 1 Dec 2006 18:11 |
