CWHS2 takes several attempts to record or playback
Running CW Home Studio 2, I'm finding that it takes several attempts almost every time I record or playback to get CW to run. Get a couple of "dropout/audio stopped" failures. Once it gets going it's fine until I hit stop again. This just started occurring, it's worked flawlessly up to this point. Any suggestion... 9 May 2010 20:53
AT&T to Pay You Money Back For Your Slow DSL
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/AT-T-dsl-lawsuit-settlement-att,10369.html#xtor=RSS-1816 I did notice my broadband speed increased back to the speed I originally paid for. My speed dropped in the fall. I went to their forums and many accused them of capping bandwidth. I know they did. Some technicians came ... 8 May 2010 11:11
Soundclick, and alternatives to MySpace
Hi all, I noticed Glennbo's using SoundClick to host tracks. MySpace has a limit of ten tracks per artist -- does SoundClick have a similar limit? Are there any other free music-hosting services that allow more tracks? Cheers, Martin ... 8 May 2010 12:17

Amplitube 3--anyone using?
I bought the audioMIDI no brainier Amplitube2 live; haven't had much time to play with it though, but I'm thinking of jumping to Amplitube 3 for the additional goodies. Opinions? -- romana(a)gallifrey.kasterborus ... 8 May 2010 09:00

Bespoke DAW Specialist in the uk
Hi All I'm thinking of buying a new DAW and am thinking of going elsewhere. I'll explain. For the last 10 years I have used a company which once held a great reputation called "Red Submarine" I've known the guy in the tech department pretty much all that time and he's always been very helpful. Looking for a video card
My friend is devoted to iTunes to play his media files and sync his iPod. Unfortunately, it tends to crash the computer fairly often with a garbled display and/or blue screen. No other program does this. I'm assuming there's just something about the P4M800-M7A motherboard's integrated display adapter that doe... 12 May 2010 09:07
Still on the Sonar bandwagon
With everyone around, it seems, gradually slipping over to Reaper, I've found myself going the other way. I've always been a Sonar user, but I've had lots of third-party plugins in the past, from free VSTs to the BFD drums. But just the other night I was finishing off a demo track and realized that I'd made the... 11 May 2010 14:29
