C64 RF modulator
Hi all, .... another question from the insane. :-) The RF modulator in a C64 seems to have 8 contacts soldered to the board. Does it have any influence on functionality or compatibilty if I solder the contacts off and take the modulator out, other than not having a TV signal, of course? I have a problem with a Commodore 1084S-D2 monitor. It blows the fuse..I've measured a lot of components in the switching power part. The bridge rectifier, capacitors, diodes are fine.
