I don't see ellipses either. I know you can set this in certain controls,
but I never do it . If I did I would show the last part rather than the
beginning.

Yes, for offline I still don't see it being better. There's nothing like a
newsgroup reader for doing offline imo.

I have heard a few people have been able to get a bridge to work with the
newgroup reader, but I've never been able to get it to work reliably.

That's why it's addictive. Once a program runs, I get bored with it. So I have to create
something new that does something completely different. And get bored with that. And
move on. So far, I've managed to do it for 46+ years (46 in September of 2009) and the
rush is still there.

Although once, when I was working 90 hour weeks for four solid months to save a company I
was working for from total disaster, I think I did OD on work. Another reason I'm a
consultant is I no longer have to deal with that kind of pressure.
