But the Nikon lens hood matches the lens (and body and monopod); he's
looking for his next shot.

I hope the Canon hood isn't shiny on the inside (I wish it was the same
colour as his hat); he's gloating over his previous shot. Is there some
reason Canon focus and zoom controls have to be so clearly visible?
