upgrading CPU - does the BIOS update itself automatically?
Hi, I want to upgrade the CPU on my intel D865 PERL motherboard. The CPU I will be installing is Intel Prescott 3.0Ghz 478 socket 90nm etc. The question I have is that do I need to do anything to update the BIOS or is the BIOS supposed to update itself and detect the new CPU automatically when I turn on the mach... 12 Oct 2006 18:42
