USB mouse wont work in XP For some reason I cant get my standard Microsoft wheelmouse to work in XP when connected via USB. Works fine in PS2 (with the supplied adaptor) but not directly to USB The USB socket works fine with other things, but not mouse, it wont even light up or make the "noise" you get when plugging in a device. Ooo! Win 7 GODMODE This is cute: in 32 bit Win 7 you can 1) create a new folder 2) name it GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} .... and have a handy one-stop tweakin' shop. Asus Xonar: disabling DS3D GX The audio card is Asus Xonar Essence STX. I noticed when I disabled DS3D GX (in order to play some old games without crashing), I could no longer have more than one program to produce sound. dell inspiron e1505 ccfl & inverter faint notepad screen again On an original new notepad couple of years old now I have had the inverter replaced early last year and then near the end of last year also had the lcd screen replaced. Which HD to use for dual-boot? I'm planning to create a Vista/Win7 dual-boot on a system that currently runs Vista (32-bit) and need feedback on which of two HDs to use.
