will shrinkfile with emptyfile cause fragmentation
I understand shrinkfile will cause fragmentation but I have read mixed psots about using the "emptyfile option". My understanding is that it reads from the front of the file and not the back like a normal shrink. The provided statistics stream is corrupt
Our users are getting this message when updating one particular table at the moment. Due to some hardware issues we have had to move our live database to another server.
