Microsoft Virtual PC
"Glennbo" wrote in message I'm even gonna try installing Windows Vista into a >virtual PC. I was at a Microsoft seminar today, and the guy doing the show had Vista running in a virtual PC, so I'm hoping it will work on my machine too. Anyway, here's the link to the *FREE* Virtual PC software. ... 4 Sep 2006 12:10
EZDrummer Issues
Got it up and running but I have a few quirks. First, once I drag and drop a file when I go back to EZD nothing will play. I have to shut it down and re-open EZD to preview any sounds/loops. Second, I downloaded the update to version 1.02 and it said it updated successfully but EZD still shows version 1.01 when... 17 Aug 2006 18:12
Cool VST Minhost
Glennbo wrote: This may have been posted here before, but I recently had a need for a VST host that's only job was to make VST instruments playable. I found this extremely small minihost that not only gets the job done, but has a lot of well thought out functions too. Here's the link. Unzip it and la... 29 Aug 2006 05:48
Anyone using EZ Drummer........
and would like to comment? It seems pretty easy to use and has decent included samples. Would this be a good first step into midi-drum software? Does it have multiple outs to mix in Sonar? Any issues with compatibility with Sonar 4.04? Thanks Alan ... 12 Aug 2006 03:59
LAME encoder setup

apologies to group
After I posted I realised that 'Cakewalk' is a specialist set of audio programmes. I thought it was the noun! Like I said, a no-nothing. Poly joins OF in Keyboard Magazine
I get an email this morning about someone seeing my CD in Keyboard magazine. So.....I patiently waited for the mail-woman, snatched(no pun intended) the magazine from her as she looked at me in horror.....and there it was ! ! ! I'll have to give her a good tip this Christmas ;) http://www.sonicmusic.net/keyboar... 16 Aug 2006 02:29
MIDI recording problem
I have Sonar 4 and now that I finally have the time to learn how to use it, I'm running into slight problems with the MIDI recording function. I have a Roland S88 Fantom plugged to my computer (Windows) with a Midisport adaptor and I followed all the directions on the Recording MIDI tutorial, but for some reason, a... 21 Jul 2006 11:41
CoolEditPro 2.1?
Sorry for the OT post, but does anyone know a download source for the v2.1 update for CoolEditPro? Yes I know Adobe bought it three years ago, and no I'm not going to pay $100 or $150 for the "upgrade" to Audition. I've already paid $250 for CEP 2.0, it works just fine for me, except that it crashes to my deskto... 16 Jul 2006 03:27
