The dealing with threads here has long been
concerned about the current situation of ms-newsserver closure.
It's very natural to fire it all off now. The Miami Moneylender
apparently thinks, his the only one having the rights to fire his
guns.
I wrote a letter to the guy and told him exactly this below. So I hope
you will continue over there. Likes to see, if he locks again. I think he'll
ask one of the other vamp-handed ones to do the bully work.

Following Carls threads I don't see other than you and the others being
the insulting ones. Also, before performing as a forum moderator and a
better
knowning person, even as an MVP, you really should learn coding first.
Below is the result of validating one of your site pages.
When you even can't make error-free html and css pages, I doubt you're
able to code other than a little in VB.Net. Because, VB.Net doesn't take
much of a coder. The net-framwork does the managing for you.
Lots of classic vb existes and will continue to do.
Power Basic, kbasic, cambas, realbasic. These are all for up-going right
now.
Chances are, microsoft will be a looser in the long run, if they continue
their
evil adventure. Qualified programmers left microsoft years ago. What is left
to them is programmers who can make faulty pages like the one below.

Well, two of my threads have been locked now. No idea who actually
locked the first. But they were both driving a *lot* of traffic, which
is one of the things Microsoft seems to be seriously hurting for. Go
figure, huh?

Amazingly, what they don't seem to have anticipated is that by allowing
my to point at images on my own server (say, in my sig), I am free to
later *change* said images. Whether the thread is locked or not. If
ya know what I mean. <eg>

What is this thing called "locking", kemosabe?

Trying to read those threads is a good lesson
in the problems with forums. You've got several
discussions going with different people, but there's
no way to distinguish which sub-thread is which,
other than by the poster's name. If, for
instance, John Anthony Oliver, "DeborahK" and Paul
Clement each joined the others' sub-thread, there'd
be no hope of sorting out any of it.
