why is it working! Hello, I found that it is believed that if we have an FM modulation then we can demodulate it by calculating (Q/I)' But why? How (sin/cos)' relates to frequency ? Regards ... 24 Nov 2006 22:45
CORDIC based FM demodulation Hello, I know that it is possible to demodulate an FM signal using a CORDIC ATAN core and the subtracting the current ouput of cordic from the last one. But I can not understand how carrier frequency and sampling rate would change it? What are the requirements? Where are the limitations? Regards ... 28 Nov 2006 10:59
TMS320F2812 Running application from Flash I am using the TMS320F2812 , DSP and when i run my program from the RAM it works well , however when i try to port it in the Flash it runs out of space as .text is referenced to FLASH A in the F2812.cmd file (as attached). The error is as mentioned in the compilation report.txt file.My error report excerpt ========... 22 Nov 2006 09:05
FFT White Noise Spectrum Hi, I have a simple question regarding the relationship between the RMS voltage and frequency spectrum of Gaussian distributed white noise. I would like to be able to relate the RMS value of the time domain signal to the magnitude I see on the spectrum analyzer. As I understand it, for white noise, the energy in... 18 Nov 2006 13:26
configuration of DSK6713 codec aic23 with IOM drivers Hi all, I am creating realtime power system signals resampler which has to work online (signals from AIC32 codec IOM-mini driver and PIP objects) or offline (signals from disk file through HST channels and PIP objects). I built it on the base of pip_audio.pjt example. The example works but I cannot change codec ... 12 Dec 2006 19:28
fixed point CIC filter Hi: Can anyone help me to understand why CIC filter can not be implemented in floating point? Mr. Dirk A Bell mentioned: A CIC filter cannot be implemented in floating point. To get it to work it must be done in non-saturating integer math, such as is done using non-saturating two's complement representati... 20 Nov 2006 13:59
frequency counting with TI DSP I'm using a Texas Instruments TMS320 DSP together with a TAOS TCS230 color sensor. The color sensor generates a block wave with a frequency that is proportional to the light intensity. I want to count the number of pulses in a fixed period of time. How can I do this? The DSP has a capture unit with a two-level F... 16 Nov 2006 08:43
DSP hardware Hi, I am newbie in this area. I read a paper on DSP and found that there is reconfigurable DSP. And we also can implement DSP on FPGA. My question is, is DSP a dedicated or reconfigurable hardware or is it both? In wikipedia, DSP is said to be dedicated. I appreaciate any feedback. Thank you. ... 17 Nov 2006 22:40
WiNRADiO Hi Folks, Has anyone used the WiNRADiO products? http://www.winradio.com/ For example, the G305 looks like it could be a useful spectrum analyzer for 0.009 to 1.8 MHz. -- % Randy Yates % "Ticket to the moon, flight leaves here today %% Fuquay-Varina, NC % from Satellite 2"... 16 Nov 2006 20:20
voice changer is it possible to change someone's voice to sound like a particular person's voice? e.g make my voice sound like George Bush(accent, pitch, length of words and all). i'm thinking of doing this as a university project but i am completely new to this field of dsp. are there algorithms for doing this? please advice me. ... 15 Nov 2006 14:06 |
