112 vs 999
I was recently told by someone connected with the emergency services that you should always dial 112 from a mobile rather than 999. The reason given was that with 112 the operator will know your location within a matter of metres whereas with 999 they only have a rough idea where you are calling from. Vodafone Nokia software updates
My Nokia N86 is on v20.115 which is the latest Vodafone have authorised for their phones. Generic N86 have had v21.xx and now v30.xx. I cannot get Vodafone to say whether or not they intend looking at allowing updates. Any ideas? ... 20 May 2010 12:47
