How do HP cals calculate the factorial function???
I know of course what the factorial function is, ie 5! equals 5*4*3*2*1 and so forth, but i was woondering if there is a so called "shortcut" algorithm that calcs can use to computer the factorial function. i am referring to computing the whole exact answer, not a a aproximation using expoential notation. Hi, Has anyone else had difficulty getting subdirectories and files to show in port 3 after installing an SD card on their hp 50g? On mine only the directory shows. Programs filed away on the SD card work - the problem is they don't show on the screen. Help appreciated. Allan ... 1 Nov 2006 10:59

SELF-TEST: immediately after "testing card" (card testing?), says FAILED
My hp50g is, as far as cards, etc, go, "fresh out of the 50g plastic". Ie, I've done nothing about any "card" (nor do I even know what it might be, or might be for).
