strange battery behavior ?
Hello I have a HP 530 laptop, to which i got a new battery. The old was a 2000mAh HP-original but this new is a 4600mAh battery. Im using ubuntu and when I look at /proc/acpi/battery/../info it tells me i still have 2000mAh battery. Updatin bios didnt help. Anyone ever heard of any such thing ? Anyone know of a docking device that supportts 1920 X 1200 VGA?
I have a Dell Inspiron 1750 which drives just fine my Dell 2407 1920 X 1200 monitor if I connect via the VGA socket on the laptop. But I want to buy a docking device, I haven't found one rated at that resolution? [BTW if you don't know, but know of another place worth asking I would be grateful to know?] ... 9 May 2010 20:54
Problem With New Laptop
I just bought a refurbished Dell Latitude D610 and now, after about a week, the hard drive makes a sort of regular clacking sound-- like something inside is constantly banging against something else.
