presonus studio live 5 piece local cover band At smaller places where we provide PA, bass player (me) runs sound from stage. Right now only outboard unit is reverb on lead singer. Cable storage - Ties I was wondering what systems people here use to store cables so that they do not get tangled. I am thinking microphone cables and instrument cable approximately 25' long. 5 seconds of fame... indy 500 I was watching the opening of the 500 today. Looks like some sound guy got his 5 seconds of infamy... jewel started singing, they had her in the broadcast mix Then the sound guy runs out with a hard wire mike. she took it, sung into both, then gave it back looking confused. some feedback to boot.
