Drafted for Open Mike Host - Which microphones? Somehow I volunteered to host a weekly open mike (in Windsor CT) after the current host had new commitments. I am thinking at minimum I need 3 microphones and 3 instrument inputs to use with my Soundcraft EFX8 mixer. For open mike I think I want the knock around reliability of dynamic mikes. D6 problems My Audix D6 seems to have developed a fault after just a few months. Is now very noisy and 14db quieter than the D112 they also had in the studio. Pitch Transposer Hello Gentlemen, A friends son is the singer in a death metal band. He is looking for an effect that will allow him to do his demony growly vocal with more power.
