Fane speakers?
We just added a couple of subs to our small PA system. My drummer purchased them a while back from a local (and well respected) speaker reconer here in town and we finnaly decided to start using them. They are a different than other subs i have seen. I was reading some really bad reviews about the Behringer MX3242X, and talked to a few well-respected people locally about their opinion...(one is an amp/ mixer repairman, he said dont touch behringer) So I decided to not pull the triger on the Behringer . so I was looking at the mackie cgx16? Speakers wired in series and parallel, how many is too many?
In theory (as far as I know) if you wire up a bunch of 8 ohm speakers in a configuration that uses both serial and parallel, you could end up with a load on the amp of 8 ohms.
