Nikon Coolscan 5000ED Driver for Win 7
Just built a computer with Win 7 but can't use my Coolscan so far because there's no Win 7 driver. One of the excellent suggestions is to drop back to the former computer, Win XP Pro, when using the scanner. Good suggestion. However, is there a way to install my 5000ED on my Win 7 computer yet? TIA. ... 3 Feb 2010 23:00
Scan 120 negatives on Coolscan V?
I have a Nikon Coolscan V scanner with a SA-21 adaptor. I have managed to scan many 35mm negatives and slides without any problems. However, I have some old negatives dating back to the 1970s; I am not sure what size they are. The strip height of these negatives is same as 35mm but they only have one sprocket hol... 8 Feb 2010 07:46

Hi this is my first post so here goes I am looking for a slide scanner having read an extensive post on Nikon coolscan vs. Epson perfection scanners started by Local Girl last November. It turned into an in-depth discussion on film scanning. What I took away from the posts was that the Nikon Coolscan 5000ED and 90... 4 Feb 2010 20:14
Scanning 40-exposure APS
I have a Nikon Coolscan V ED with the IA-20 (S) adapter for APS films. It scans 25-exposure rolls, but when I try a 40-exposure one, it rejects it, with an error message that it is "either too short or too long." Is this a built-in limitation? If not, how do I scan these films? ... 6 Feb 2010 07:28
Batch photo print scanner?
As another business person who does 'photo scanning' (http://www.dvdyourmemories.com/services/photo-scanning/), I was *-very unhappy-* with this particular scanner, however, the issues I have with this scanner are apparently problems with ALL "feeder" type scanners. When this type of scanner scans, because the imag... 17 Jan 2010 18:24
