Sample scans of rc850 or newer model docupen scanners
Hi, I am thinking about buying a planon docupen scanner. Before making a decision, I want to look at sample document scans taken by docupen rc850 and/or newer models. I am thinking of buying the rc850 model, so the priority is on rc850 sample scans. Does anyone have sample document scans taken by these docupen ... 13 Nov 2009 03:20
Vuescan auto-exposure question
Hello all, I just purchased an Epson V500 for the purpose of scanning old Kodak disks (yeah, I know, don't ask). I've put 3 disks on the scanner, done a preview, set a crop window on _one_ of the images and now I have a pretty good exposure. What do I do if I want to scan the whole area with _those_ exposure / W... 5 Nov 2009 17:51

Scannner for large negatives
I recently acquired many old photographs belonging to my parents. I've been scanning the 35-mm slides, 35-mm negatives, and 126/Instamatic negatives using my Nikon 5000 ED. There are many larger format negatives (mostly B+W) that appear to be 6x6 and 6x9 format. For many years, my mother used a twin lens reflex... 4 Nov 2009 14:11

Vuescan and flatbed scanners
Hello all, I've been using VueScan for a decade on several generations of slide scanners and several generations of operating systems, but I'm thinking of getting a flatbed scanner with a transparency back in order to scan some very old large format transparents (glass, 6x9, etc). Does VueScan also work with ... 24 Oct 2009 20:56

64 bit generic driver?
I have an AGFA Snapscan 1212u. Right now it's being used with the 32 bit Windows 7 RC, and I've already ordered the retail version of 7. I would like to install the 64 bit version, but I'm afraid I'll lose my scanner. While it does work with 32 bit 7, it only works with the Scanwise program. I can't scan inside a... 3 Sep 2009 07:35
