configure kdm to restrict users to one concurrent session?
One of the users on my home system (SWMBO wouldn't you guess) keeps starting up new kde sessions rather than returning to previous sessions she already has running. It's probably easier to fix on the system than in the user :-|. Trouble is I can't find how. /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc seems to obvious place but I can't ... 10 Aug 2010 05:51

Big disaster over the weekend on my box....
Hi, One of my drives on a raid array decided to ditch last week. No idea why, but on restarting, the machine decided to try and rebuild the drive. Mail simply disappearing - how to diagnose?
I have a home system running Ubuntu 9.10 which has stopped sending mail, or, to be more precise it still sends the mail but it just disappears into a black hole, no errors, no nothing.
