IP packet inside MAC packet?
Hello I'm a bit confused about these two protocols. If i send a message from one pc to another in internet, is it first encapsulated into IP packets and after that MAC packets? I am frustrated. I have my internet connection conected to my modem, modem connected to my Linksys router, 2 computors connected to the router, have run the xp network setup wizard. Unable to access networked drive, but able to access same unc
But the strange thing is that I have other mapped drives to the same device and they work absolutely fine, it is just the one particular mapped drive. I have assigned a static IP to the device. Slow response on network drive...
