Bare-iron recovery: How do I apply the Driver & Utilities CD?
I've got a new Inspiron and I'm practicing with backup and recovery before I start using it for real. I've run the reimaging CD and it works but the system needs lots of drivers and Dell software foundon the second CD. Hello, I am helping out a friend who I had to do a clean install of Vista. It was a Dell with a D drive that was a recovery partition. After I ran all the updates then I installed MS Security essentials and iTunes. Hi! My question is *exactly* what kind of media do I buy? Your computer can seemingly burn both the + and - R/RW types. The RW discs can be erased and reused, which is something you won't want to do with recovery discs.
