Posting pictures in a virtual public forum is akin to waving your guns
around in public.

That comment reveals a lot about you.

Nobody has actually suggested that, but you clearly have missed the point.

It doesn't work that way.
The advent of right-to-carry law in states (here in the USA) began
recently, and violent crime has been *falling* as more lawful people
begin to carry weapons. If your statement were true, violent crime
would have been lower during the time carry was banned.
It's really quite simple: you have nothing to fear from people who go
through the hoops necessary to carry concealed weapons.

Of course it is. Yes, posting pictures is exactly like that, now, all
the offended CSC readers should call the police.
"Hello, Police? yes there is a man waiving his gun around. Where? oh,
in the internet. Me? no he never threatened me. Right, he posted a
picture of firearms he owns. There is no law against that? WOW! You
gun crazed Americans are really wild"
