Cannot read Chinese characters in some programs
I have re-installed Windows XP on my desktop recently and now I cannot read Chinese characters in some programs. I have already installed the East Asian languages files under the "Regional and language options" as well as setting the "Language for non-Unicode programs" to Chinese(PRC). a sound like " du dum" when I come out of lower power mode
I hooked up the printer, scanner, and web-cam in the middle of a boot, and then I started gettting a " du dum " noise when it comes out of " low-power" mode, or " stand-by " mode. Strange Window Behavior
I have been having a strange "behavioral" issue for a few weeks now. When attempting to open new folder windows (or settings windows) they either do not open, or open BEHIND the windows that I already have open. In and of its self, this is not a major issue. User ID has disappeared
Using XP professional. Installed new memory card. When computer started up went to windows page where "click your user id & enter your password" shows up on left side of screen but no user id or password box shows up on right side of screen.
