Anyone got a Dell Mini 9 with a working xorg.conf?
I'm feeling somewhat sour towards Ubuntu just now... I bought a Dell Mini 9 with Ubuntu pre-loaded about a year ago. I bought it because I wanted to encourage Dell to keep offering Linux as an option. unetbootin to a HDD
Does anyone here have any experience using Unetbootin? I have spent a lot of time today searching through google but the info is poor and repetitive and I'm still unsure off what Unetbootin can do. I know it can take an iso of a (selected) linux distro and install it onto a USB stick with the correct boot loade... 2 Feb 2010 17:09
SD card throughput

electricsheep+compiz
Have just installed electricsheep and now I cannot get compiz cube to run. Wobbly windows is ok but find that ctrl-alt does not rotate the cube..Starting compiz from the command line does not give me any errors.. Burning music CDs
I'm in the process of transcribing some vinyl to CD. These are disks that I've had for years and that have never been reissued on CD. I'm using Audacity and an external sound card to make WAV files without any problems, but I'm having a spot of bother creating playable music CD images from the files and burning... 18 Mar 2010 15:31
