what is the difference between "tsu", "su" and "sudo"?
Hi all I needed to ask a question about the Linux commands used for getting root access. The question is, what is the difference between "tsu", "su", and "sudo"? I am mainly interested about the "tsu" command regarding which there seems to be very little documentation. What is the benefit in using e.g. "... 28 Sep 2009 05:57

Is an Atom better than an Athlon XP 2400+?
I'm wanting to replace my ageing home desktop with a new small machine that I can leave on most of the time. It's for very basic email, web, openoffice use with the occasional light photo editing. Eventually would like to add audio streaming. Something like this could be ideal: 17 Sep 2009 09:01

Naive debian packages questions
I have some very naive questions stemming from an annoying problem with fetchmail. I just wanted to run them past this newsgroup to see if I understood the situation correctly. I just upgraded from debian etch to lenny (lenny is now debian stable) and precisely one thing broke: fetchmail. My fetchmail was upgrade... 12 Sep 2009 05:23
