Can't shrink Windows partition I've just acquired a Thinkpad Z61M and want to install Debian. If I want to keep Windows I need to resize the partition it occupies, but I've failed with the Debian netinst disk, Ubuntu, and Gparted. pure-ftd on fc5 - create directories Having a weird problem on fc5. Can upload files via pure-ftpd but it will not create directories automatically - I can issue a mkdir command myself in the ftp client and it works, but not if I drag and drop. Finding SSID's under Ubuntu Dear Folks, My laptop does jolly well at making wifi connections with Ubuntu.
