Basic bootloader question I use grub 0.97 extensively on my multi-OS test PC. I want to try an OS that uses Lilo as its boot loader, but going away from grub is not an option. Is there any way I could install this OS under grub? Thanks for any help. dave ... 19 Sep 2009 12:36
ACPI says temp is 256C On my laptop (HP 6735s) 'acpi -t' tells me the temperature is 256C (critical). It obviously isn't; the laptop feels quite cool and it is working normally. Is an Atom better than an Athlon XP 2400+? I'm wanting to replace my ageing home desktop with a new small machine that I can leave on most of the time. It's for very basic email, web, openoffice use with the occasional light photo editing. Eventually would like to add audio streaming.
