Ok I posted about this last week. It is happening on a colleague's machine, and I got some useful advice. She booted from her install CD over the weekend and it seems as if she re-installed the OS, which did not solve the problem. Mini-CD put in slot load PowerBook - help!
My father has been a pratt. He's tried to put a mini-CD (one of those small buggers) into his 15" slotload PowerBook. Naturally the machine can't see it and can't eject it. OK - having run through the maths it looks like I'll be handing the Power Mac back (lease) and going to iMac Intel 20" (bought). A shame and all that, but there you have it.
